In 2002, in response to the rapid growth of Southeast Orlando and playing off the success of the original Vista East project, SPI became the development partner for a privately held ranch acquired in the 1950’s. 5,000 additional acres were annexed into the City of Orlando along with the creation of a second public/private partnership for expansion of the arterial roadway network and regional infrastructure to support an additional 10,000 residential units and other mixed-use development.
